The AMD Radeon RX 7950 XTX, a high-end graphics card that was planned but never released, is designed for serious gaming performance. Engineered with the advanced 5 nm process and based on the large Navi 31 graphics processor (Navi 31 XTX+ variant), this card is fully equipped to handle DirectX 12 Ultimate. This means it’s ready for all modern games and is future-proofed with support for hardware-ray tracing, variable-rate shading, and more in upcoming titles.
The Navi 31 GPU is impressive, featuring a large die area of 529 mm² and a staggering 57,700 million transistors. It boasts 6144 shading units, 384 texture mapping units, and 192 ROPs, along with 96 ray tracing acceleration cores. Coupled with 24 GB of high-speed GDDR6 memory on a 384-bit memory interface, the Radeon RX 7950 XTX promises exceptional performance. The GPU operates at 2200 MHz, with a boost capability of up to 3300 MHz, and the memory at an effective 20 Gbps.
Designed as a dual-slot card, the Radeon RX 7950 XTX requires 2x 8-pin power connectors and has a maximum power draw of 355 W. For connectivity, it offers 1x HDMI 2.1a, 2x DisplayPort 2.1, and 1x USB Type-C, and connects to the system via a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface. The card measures 287 mm x 135 mm x 51 mm and employs a dual-slot cooling solution to manage its robust performance.
